pleasant surprise. We ordered the Sooyook and Gamjatang, and both dishes were on point. While the servers were busy, they still tried their best to be attentive. The restaurant might look a bit run down at first, but the quality of the food was surprisingly good. I would definitely visit again.

Great food and great service! It's a tight space, so there's a button at each table to press when you're ready to order/order more which was great. Food came out hot and steamy, delicious. Almost skipped the seafood scallion pancake, and I'm so glad I didn't because it was my favorite dish of the meal with a crispy outside and a fluffy flavorful inside!

We came here around 3pm on a Saturday. We got the large gamjatang, which is $47 before tax and tip and can feed 3 people (3 bowls of rice, 6+ meaty pork neck bones and lots of toppings in the gamjatang, and banchan). The soup flavor became more intense (a slightly spicy soybean paste flavor) as it cooked down, and paired nicely with the rice. The pork was tender. I liked the banchan. Overall it's simple ingredients and flavors -- nothing mind-blowing, but a hearty meal that's perfect for a cold day.

We had the gamjatang and corn cheese. The ban Chan was great. The kimchi was salty. The corn was good and cheesy. The gamjatang had a pork odor which isn’t pleasant. The pork was bland which is why I’m assuming they give you a wasabi/soy sauce dipping sauce. I’m not a fan of wasabi but the dipping sauce was excellent. I prefer chunks of potatoes instead of slices but I’m sure it’s because of the cook time. Staff is polite and very efficient.

We ordered the large Mala Gamjatang and the Seafood Pancake. The Seafood Pancake was chewy and crisp and yummy! The Mala Gamjatang meat was really delicious but overall the soup lacked some flavor I would say. Definitely good for a cold night!
