Hank's Seafood Restaurant

We visited this restaurant today, and everything was truly above our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was just fantastic — warm, inviting, and perfect for a special occasion. It made my birthday feel even more magical. Service was 10 out of 10. Our server, Jeremy, was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. He was always one step ahead of our requests, making sure we had everything we needed before we even asked. His professionalism and kindness really stood out. We loved the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience so much that we would definitely love to come back one day. I’m truly thankful to Jeremy and the whole team for making my birthday so special. Absolutely recommend!

We made a reservation to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We arrived early and headed to the bar for a drink. Our service with Mariah was so good we by passed our table and stayed at the bar for our dinner. The food we delicious and the service by Mariah was superb! We visited on a busy time on Saturday evening, so the restaurant was hopping and busy. 12 out of 10 for the service, food and experience. We stopped by to share our experience with the manager on our way out as well!

We were very happy to start our Charleston week at a fantastic restaurant. Everything with Hank's was top notch. The server was very knowledgeable about drinks and the menu, providing us with some great recommendations for the evening. I had the evening's special, trigger fish. Well done. My first time having trigger fish and was not disappointed. It was so good I forgot what my wife had. Check them out and decide for yourself.

Hank's Seafood Restaurant is a somewhat upscale seafood restaurant (white table cloths, waiters in white jackets, etc.) The menu offers a wide range of seafood dishes and a few land lover's dishes. Additionally, Hank's offers a number of gluten-free options. The Seafood ala Wando was made gluten free. It was so delicious that my friend waited to ask the waiter if it was truly gluten-fee before continuing to savor every bite. (They have a separate menu for gluten-free offerings.) There are dishes from the raw bar, including a seafood tower. There service is impeccable. I had the bouillabaisse, which was loaded with a variety of seafoods. My husband and I always try to hit Hanks for dinner while in town. This time didn't disappoint just as expected. We had Sean as our waiter, we've had Sean before and as always, he guided us through a few wine and dinner options. I had the grouper and my husband had the flounder entree's. Both were magical, paired perfectly with our wine. We finished the night off with a shared order of creme brûlée and it was perfect. Food, service and atmosphere were all perfect!
