Hank's Oyster Bar, Old Town

Had a great time enjoying dinner with a friend at Hanks while we waited for the car to charge down the street. Our visit started off a little rocky but once we flagged someone down a manager took over and took good care of us. We of course had to start with some oysters and he was able point us to the perfect briny/sweet blend for our palette. The arugula salad was perfect to share and transition into our next course. To end our meal i went for the fish and chips and my friend had the shrimp po boy. My fish was perfectly cooked, chips were good but I prefer mine more crispy. Overall it was an excellent meal! Ohhh and I had the jalapeño marg which was perfectly balanced and delicious 😋

Excellent place to have the Chesapeake oysters, so many good options you can choose. Not a very big space but many people come here to enjoy the food. They also have a bar and pasta restaurant in the building . Peter’s awesome, he’s friendly and humorous. I ordered fries and broiled oysters, food came very quickly, and that’s the best Oysters I’ve ever tried (cream and firm). It's kind of difficult to find street parking, so I recommend parking in the Montgomery Park parking lot (pay by ParkMobile, 2 hours maximum), then walk to the restaurant. Will come back in the future!

Brady was amazing! Super friendly and knowledgeable and kind. He made the experience exceptional. Oysters were delicious, and the mussels were scrumptious. The crab pasta was recommended and it was amazing as well. Definitely will be back to this location!! Thank you all!

AMAZING food in an amazing spot. The oysters, deviled eggs, and lobster roll are unreal. The Nuts & Berries NA cocktail was one of the greatest things I’ve ever tasted, I wish I knew how to make it at home. Such nice staff too and unique specials!
