Handcraft Burgers and Brew

Probably one of the better burgers that I’ve had in my life (seriously). Extremely flavorful and filling. Price was actually decent too. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed. Shop is kind of small. Groups of 2 work best (all tables sized to fit 2). Greater than that and you will have to put tables together and hope your group will fit.

Staff was amazing.thanks Nia. The bodega tots were outstanding. Fresh salad. Huge potions. Great flavor. Not a single tot was soggy. The sauce was good and the crispy smash burger in it had some outstanding. If you want affordable, quick, kind food but gourmet go here. Great veggie burger too.

The smash burgers here are incredibly buttery and decadent, on the softest bun you'll probably ever encounter. We decided to come here after circling the winter market at Bryant Park and deciding the insane lines were not worth it. The wait to receive our order was approx. 15 min since they were PACKED, but we still managed to find a seat and get our food in a reasonable amount of time. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice and modern, with several digital order kiosks and a nicely-decorated interior. There were also as many seating options as the space would permit. We had a great meal overall, despite the food leaning heavily on the greasy side.

Absolutely loved this place and already miss it! Friendly staff and great option to customize your own burger. We visited three times during our one-week stay in NYC. Even our 2.5-year-old daughter enjoyed the burgers — we created healthier versions with extra veggies, avocado, no sauce, cheese and salt. We wish this place existed in Poland! We had a good dining experience at Handcraft Burgers and Brew. It is considered one of the top burger spots in Manhattan. We ordered ultimate smash Oklahoma - the burgers are cooked perfectly (medium-well) as ordered, juicy and flavorful, and the build-your-own option is great if you like to customize. The service was friendly and very efficient. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the wait - the place gets more busy at night during weekendsand holidays and you have to wait about 30 to 40 minutes for a table, and it gets quite loud inside. Definitely recommend for anyone craving a quality burger in Manhattan! But, If you can come at an off-peak time, you're in for a real treat.
