Hanamaru Japanese Sushi & Kaiseki Restaurant

Small business, but it's really good sushi. I love it fresh noodles and broth flavorful. Drove an hour for food, but it was good. Calamari was okay, not worth the price. The place was clean, but the bathrooms dusty. If big fans of sushi, yes, go there authentic Japanese sushi.

We're so glad to find this little gem. Authentic and so good. The couples are super nice, very efficient and all the orders came out quickly. We've been coming back several times since trying different dishes including their famous ramen. All of the ones we ordered were very very good. Just keep in mind that you have to make reservation or else you won't get a table. This is a tiny place with only 5 tables!

Delicious! We have been here several times over the years. Love the small personal setting. Husband and wife do a great job with cooking. Noodles were very good. Sushi was perfect. We have taken friends and family who love it just as much.

This was a neat place. Very cozy and small. You must have reservations! Husband/wife run the place. Sushi was delicious as well as the pot stickers. I ordered the chicken katsu curry. Wow, was that good! I just got back from Japan where there is a restaurant chain called Coco Curry. It tasted just like that. There's no rush and you keep ordering what you want until you're done! The prices were very reasonable and I would absolutely go back! There were 3 adults for dinner.

Every time that I’ve gone to Hanamaru it has been a delight. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. We are lucky to have authentic Japanese cuisine in Ogden, a true hidden gem. The owners run the front and back of house by themselves and they do an amazing job. Can’t wait to go back.
