EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE. My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary while we were visiting Sea Island. A couple we met suggested this place and we are so glad they did. The menu is diverse but there is plenty of seafood to choose from, along with daily specials, which is what we had. I had the citrus mahi-mahi with risotto and my husband had the halibut with bucatini in a pesto sauce. Both were delicious. (Large portions too.) We also started with the blue crab soup, which was terrific and could be a meal with the bread service because it was so filling. The place is upscale but not too fancy. We sat outside, which is covered. Chelsea our server was so friendly and attentive. We would definitely come back. It was about a 10-minute drive from the Sea Island resort. Plenty of

I was so excited to come here, but the food wasn't as good as I expected based on what I'd heard from others. We had the raw oysters. The first one was delicious, but the rest didn't have any liquid in them and were a little dried out. I ordered the sea bass with risotto. The fish was cooked nicely, but under seasoned. The risotto was awful--the rice was crunchy! We also ordered the flourless chocolate cake, which was decadent. I wish there had been more berries! Overall, hit or miss. I will go back, but maybe only stick to drinks and appetizers. It wasn't worth the price.

Our entire evening at Halyard’s was phenomenal! We were welcomed with true southern hospitality, amazing customer service, absolutely delicious food. We started out with Brussels sprouts and wedge salad which were fabulous. The main course of lamb chops w/ seared tomatoes and scallions and shrimp & grits. Both were out of this world! We wrapped up the experience with banana pudding and cappuccino. Thank you to the entire Halyard’s team for delivering with excellence once again. Halyard’s is a must every time we visit St. Simons.

This is the restaurant right next to Tramici on SSI and I believe the same group owns both places. TL/DR: Go to Tramici instead. We went on a Saturday night at 6 which is roughly the same time we went to Tramici a week earlier. The Halyards atmosphere is slightly more upscale feeling, but not drastically. Basically, you'll see the same clientele in both restaurants. Both restaurants were pretty busy, but the service at Halyards took noticeably longer. They may have been short staffed, but it seemed like our server was stretched too thin. The bread service is the same in both places, and I think it's ridiculous that you have to pay for it. To be honest, the free bread at Longhorn is better and it's...free. I do like the oil to dip though. I started with the spicy tuna cones which

Good restaurant in total. I had the grits and they were exceptional totally disagree with Emily Howard they were very flavorful and came to me scorching hot. My brother got the sweet tea fried chicken which was spicy it was very flavorful. The only thing I disliked was the appentizers. We got crabcake, calamari, snd salad all wasn’t very tasty.
