super yummy and great place! i got an avocado salad, a miso soup, and a cucumber avocado roll and it came out to around $19 with tax! good price and great service. they are super kind and fast too! loved it. would absolutely come back!! as a vegetarian, this place had everything i needed! ❤️
If you are a lone traveler landed at JFK, you’d find this place a satisfying first stop. No loud music, clean, and just the right amount of social interaction or disruption needed. The chef serves you good food and leave you alone to enjoy it. Perfect. I just needed this type of peace after long flight. The food is impeccable. The miso soup would warm your stomach as a starter. Every Asian would relate. I had Japanese food box vegetarian version. The tofu, the veggies, and the egg-fried rice? Nice.
Hidden gem with so much to offer both sushi or Thai cuisine. Don't be put off by the take out/paper menus. Seems many restaurants are doing that. When you walk in, the space has a dimly light ambiance if you want to sit in the booths with the lounge seats. Or for more family or large parties, sit by the back tables. On the fly, Alex and his staff worked to put together tables for 24 of us in ten minutes (I called ahead). He and his staff were attentive, brought us appetizer plates to share our food if we wanted. Our group really enjoyed the Thai curry (red, green and the massaman). Pad see ew was the most popular dish of the night and tons of sushi. Kiddos were fans of the rolls (eel avocado, California, and custom captains roll). I enjoyed my sashimi deluxe and chirashi. Thai Iced Tea wa
The drinks here are good! It's a very nice upscale looking place. The first time I came here I thought I was somewhere in Manhattan. I was actually surprised, for a place like this in this neighborhood. It's definitely a hidden gem. I had the food here and it's pretty damn good. The drinks here are very good as well and aren't expensive as other places. Prices on everything seems pretty fair too.
