Habesha Ethiopian Restaurant

We were looking for Ganesha but found Madina in its place. I was sad because I wanted my boyfriend to try Ethiopian food. We couldn't find what I wanted on the menu so I described it to the owner. She said come back in two hours and I am so glad we did!!! Simply amazing and the price was less than half of what I've paid in other cities. It warranted a 200% gratuity. Our new favorite place!

New name, new ownership. Used to be Habib Cuisine, is now Madina Cuisine. I went in for lunch today and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, and the staff very friendly and attentive. I had the goat, which comes with a basmati rice pilaf and lightly cooked peppers and onions, an iceberg and veg salad with ranch, and the awesome, must-have green hot sauce. A banana and a cup of hot, sweetly spiced tea were complimentary. My platter of rice and meat was very large. I took home an almost full to-go box. All for ten dollars. Everything was well seasoned and tasted fresh, and the fried goodies at the counter looked very tempting. I'll get samosas next time I go, which will be soon.
