Very quaint Cuban place! Amazing atmosphere, decor and patio! We had the Cubanito sandwich with s side of Congri. Also had the Cuban street tacos de ropa vieja. Food was amazing, fresh and succulent! Can't wait to come by in the evening and sit outside with a mojito and smoke a cigar.
Great food and service. Loved the vibe and music. We had cocktails (they have a lovely mojito) and appetizers on the front patio. The yucca frita and ceviche w/ plantain chips were delicious, and we couldn't turn down trying the coconut flan (also wonderful). Much appreciated they had pet-friendly accommodations on the patio.
Stumbled across this place last minute looking for a place to eat, we were not disappointed. Jacqueline was the perfect host, offering recommendations from the menu on what her favourite dishes were, topping up our wine when she noticed we were low, perfect service from her! The food was amazing, we had fish tacos, salads, black beans and a Cuban chicken and rice dish. After this Jacqueline let us try a new dessert which was coming onto the menu. Perfect evening i would highly recommend 👌
I had a mojito to start which was great since we ordered the Paella dish that took 35-45 min to prepare. It was good. Serves about 4-6 people, full of flavor and seafood. The waitstaff were very nice but needed more help. I really liked the decor and is a great location near the Grand Opera house.
We stopped by at Habanos for a late lunch following the recommendation of a staff member at a nearby bookstore. Our waiter recommended the Jupiña soda to start with. It was a pineapple soda with a very fresh taste. The complimentary plantain chips with crema sauce were super tasty. The entree portions were massive. We (two adults) shared one Cuban sandwich (which came with one side -- black beans) and one small salad, which was more than enough food for lunch. The sandwich was deliciously savory with tender pulled pork, bread that had a crusty exterior but soft interior, and no excess grease. Forgot to take a picture of it :(
