This place was a wonderful surprise. The menu is very extensive spanning the whole comfort food spectrum. On this visit I tried the Cuban and was blown away, Dexter would be proud. Service was good and the atmosphere was nice as well. Prices were reasonable for the area and the quality of food. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
This restaurant is amazing. Great food. Huge portions and kind service. I recommend looking at the menu beforehand and when you get there. Staff was attentive and they even asked if I wanted to have the beignets to come out later to keep the warm. It was mainly table and chair seating if I recall. Self serve drinks may not have been the most ADA friendly but staff were nearby to help patrons. The bathrooms are in the back. There are two. You have walk through a storage like area which isn't bad and bathrooms are not gendered which was comforting to me. I live far from here but was in town for a concert, but this may become my new pitstop place on my way to and fro San Diego.
We flew in from TN this afternoon. Never been to the area, so we looked up some food options. The pics led us here, and we're so glad they did! Not only is the food genuinely phenomenal, it tastes clean. The beer is great and the service, even better. A huge thanks to Angela for being so kind and inviting. She's loved on our baby and has taken great care of us. We truly appreciated it. The crew you have matters, and they can make the whole experience even better. Whoever owns this place, treat ya girl good. She's a hard worker & keeper! Great food, great atmosphere, great people! Worth the stop! 🤘 (The avocado burger is 🤌🍔) First stop on our trip has set such a great tone! Thanks, guys!
First time visiting H Brothers in Esco and I was really impressed! I immediately noticed there was no garage door here, unlike many other Grand Avenue establishments. I actually appreciated that because I’m a fan of good air conditioning. The restaurant is beautiful, clean and has a nice vibe. Service was welcoming and friendly. I arrived around 3:00 in the afternoon, just in time for Happy Hour. They feature a creative selection of loaded fries type fare at a roughly 30% discount off the regular menu price. I ordered the “Adobada Fries” and it was outstanding! Made with fresh cut fries that were hot and fairly crispy, a generous heaping of savory adobada, a cheese bechamel sauce, pickled jalaps, maters and a nice blob of cool sour cream on top. It came with two tasty dipping sauces on the
Food was good. The price was a little high but you get what you pay for. I left the restaurant full and didn't need to order much. The fried brownie was dry and a little too sweet.
