Gyroz – Halal Middle Eastern Restaurant Lexington, KY

I’m not middle eastern but Are you kidding me?! This family owned place is exceptional. I usually goto Nefertiti but this place rivals it if not better and strategically placed close to UK and Chandler. Portion size is great. The highlight is the babaganoush. It is unadulterated pure eggplant delight. I ordered the baklava for pick up as well but the owner’s son said the owner isn’t there so could not make it fresh… but I’ll be back! A+++

10/10 food, 10/10 service, 10/10 atmosphere… I went in for the first time over two weeks ago and had no idea what to order. Mo greeted me with a smile and hooked me up with a huge plate of a combination of what I thought sounded the best. It was all Incredibly delicious and I was telling all my friends how good it was. Today I went back in and Mo greeted me again with such positive energy and kindness. On top of that, he remembered me and what I ordered 17 days ago. He introduced himself, asked me my name for next time, and let me get a drink for free. Best atmosphere around, and some of the kindest people I’ve met.

The food was absolutely amazing. So good. And these guys were so friendly with everyone that came in. Gave me a sample of their lentil soup and baklava. So much food I’m having my leftovers for lunch today! Will definitely be back

First time here and I didn’t know what to expect. WOW! Blown away by how much food the chicken shawarma plate was for only 14.99 Definitely recommend for the taste as well, freshly grilled chicken and creamy hummus.

One of my fav places to eat in Lexington! The food is always fresh and they have the most kind staff who work at their restaurant. Highly recommend trying one of their lunch specials!
