Guru's Pizza 786 Indian - Italian Cuisine (Pizza-Pasta-Wings-Sandwiches)

On the way to Destin, we decided to have lunch. After searching, we stopped at Guru's Pizza 786. About 15-20 minutes before we arrived at the restaurant, we called ahead and ordered a Butter Chicken Pizza, an Achari Chicken Pizza, fries, chicken wings, and a house salad. We were able to find parking easily near the restaurant. Since we ordered ahead, our order was ready and we were seated promptly to enjoy it. We shared both pizzas, both of which were very enjoyable. The specialty pizzas were cooked well and were delicious, tasty, and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. The chicken wings, fries, and house salad were also excellent, delicious, and paired well with the pizza. The food was both delicious and satisfying to eat.

The restaurant has a diner vibe and indoors and offers a wide bar of pizzas and pastas including fusion dishes. We tried their chilli paneer pizza on the recommendation of the owner, who was friendly and nice. I expected the chilli paneer flavor profile but it was a pizza with some spice mix, green bell peppers and paneer. It wasn’t bad but a tad greasy. It’s a unique place as it offers some interesting sounding fusion dishes, and even though it wasn’t the best pizza we’ve ever had, it was definitely welcomed on a long roadtrip.

As someone who has been to almost all of the local pizza places here in Panama City Beach, this place has immediately jumped up to top 2 of my favorite pizza places OF ALL TIME!!! Me and my father came in on a Friday afternoon looking to try some new foods and we were beyond blown away with the quality and care of the food and customer service. We had an order of the mango habinero wings to start off. He got a curry meat lover calzone and I had a large chicken tikka masala pizza. From the first bite, you can taste the care and effort they put into there craft. I would give this place a 12/10 if I could rate it any higher. If you want to have some great pizza, this is the place to get it.

This place truly stands out for offering some of the finest Indian-style pizzas and pastas in town, with an impressive range of options to satisfy every taste. The menu combines traditional Indian flavors with classic pizza favorites, creating a unique and enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant also has a spacious dine-in area, making it an excellent choice for families and large groups. I visited with a group of ten people, and everyone had a fantastic time, both with the food and the atmosphere. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the popular Butter Chicken Pizza and the Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza, both of which were rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with Indian spices. This place has very unique pizza options that’s worth a try if you like the Indian flavors. The chicken wings are very tasty unique flavor you can’t find anywhere else!
