Gunny's Restaurant and Lounge

Dead flies all over the place and probably 15-20 of them flying around our table. An hour and 20 minutes for 6 wings which came out after the other three people in our party had finished eating 25 minutes earlier. “Large fry” is a small fry anyplace else. Asked for ketchup and got a tiny cup of it. Waitress no where to be found and had to go ask for boxes. Ended up taking wings home. Hopefully they are good and don’t have flies on them when we get there. Not sure how this place has a 4.5 rating.

Stopped in for dinner. We had the steak sandwich, and meatball sub. Both were great.

What’s for dinner? (Saturday~ March 7, 2020) It was supposed to be a pre-dinner snack but turned into dinner since we ate so late!! Wings & fries with a pineapple upside down cake for my drinks!! Yum!! Meal specs: As always... they are big crispy seasoned chicken wings!! The fries are steak fries & we get them seasoned!! Drink specs: Again, as always... good & sweet!! Not very big, though! The pizza was okay. Right around average the crust was also average. I mean just pretty much everything about the pizza ended up being average. I tried some of their onion rings and like other fried dishes and garlic bread it was all okay This isn't really a place I can like. Highly recommend. It was most likely a coincidence, but after eating there I ended up not feeling well for a couple days after eating. Most likely a coincidence but can't say for certain overall the price for the food and the taste of the food I can't recommend this place. It's okay. Strictly okay. I couldn't find anything particularly special about any dish. It was all average. Not the type of reviews I like to give, but it is what it is.

We ordered wings, mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, hoagies and chicken salad. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I only tasted the mozzarella sticks. Mushrooms and wings. Honestly, these wings are the best I have had. They are crispy, large and the special dipping sauce is yummy! Check out their Tuesday wing special and Thursday 5-7PM special.
