G's Pizzeria & Deli

The best pizza spot in West Branch hands down. I'm not one to usually order breads sticks... but I'm telling you to order them you won't be disappointed 😌 we got the ninja turtle pizza snuck was amazing 😋

Worth the stop for great food! Stopped at G’s Pizzeria while passing through West Branch. It’s an older restaurant, but very clean and well-kept. Service was a little slow, but we weren’t in a rush. The centerpiece of the dining room, a massive stuffed brown bear surrounded by mounted animal heads, was a bit distracting and not really my vibe while eating, but the food made up for it. The hand-tossed pepperoni and mushroom pizza was delicious with a great balance of sauce and toppings. The French onion soup was fantastic and not overly salty like others can be. The standout was the Southwest chicken salad, which was fresh and flavorful, especially with their homemade chipotle ranch. I’d definitely stop in again!

Great atmosphere great service. The food was delicious. The personal pizzas are a bit expensive as they start at a price of $8.50 plus $1 for every topping which can get quite expensive for a 7-in pizza. But it was delicious and we enjoyed our meal and our time there. Be sure to park either behind the restaurant or on the streets across from the restaurant on side streets. Currently there's massive construction going on in front of the restaurant and the main Street is closed to traffic. This restaurant is a mainstay in most communities in Northern Michigan. If you want some great pizza stop in and order one now. I have to say we'll return as we have for over 25 years.

We ordered 4 large pizzas. Good size slices. We had pepperoni, meat lovers, BBQ chicken, and chicken bacon ranch. Crust was good. I didn’t walk away feeling like the crust was too heavy and I liked that. The toppings were generously applied and I liked that as well. Everyone in the group enjoyed the pizza. We had a reserved place in the back and it was private, which I appreciated. The atmosphere wasn’t the best, but didn’t dampen the experience with the group. Service was ok. Wasn’t top notch. I’d say it was just adequate. We will come back.

We ordered pizza for our meeting in West Branch, wow weee we impressed! I had vowed to not eat carbs and bread, but one look at these pies and I stuffed it in! I hope these pictures do them justice. If you’re looking for the next guilt filled dinner, G’s is the place to go! 🍕
