Grumpy Goat Seafood Cantina

My husband and I dined here for the first time Saturday evening, we weren’t quite sure what to expect based on some of the reviews, but boy were we pleased! 1) Heather B was our server — she was AMAZING! Very attentive, kind and informed on the menu and recommendations. We took all her suggestions and they were fantastic. 2) food and drinks were TOP NOTCH — the Carolina reaper marg was delish (we lived in Austin TX for 4 years and this was the best spicy marg we’ve had since!!) & we also enjoyed the chicken quesadilla, shrimp soup and grouper taco special. All were DELIGHTFUL 3) we enjoyed a quiet evening on the patio, we also love the Harlow right next door but felt it was a shame this place wasn’t busier on a Saturday night. Avoided this place for years because it's called a Seafood Cantina and I don't eat seafood. That was definitely a mistake! I've been twice now and the food and service is fantastic. The place has a chill bar vibe and excellent food that is very well executed. I've only had the chicken quesadilla and chicken tacos (pictured) so far but I look forward to going back and trying additional non seafood items. Highly recommend!

I had no wait at all and sat at the bar! The fried goat cheese taco is my favorite... I also had the parm crusted mahi and it made my mouth water. My friend wanted to steal it from me, but he got the blackened grouper tacos and loved them! The staff is amazing!!! Drink wine and it was lovely, my friend thought their margarita was great ! Coming back soon!!!

A cozy spot with a great atmosphere, wonderful service and the best Tuna Steak I've had in years! We will be back, frequently.

We absolutely love the grumpy goat. The food is delicious and priced very reasonably. The salsa is the best in town! It’s family friendly and always full of happy customers. I highly recommend it!
