Grotto Pizza

Food was good. I wouldn't say it's the absolute best, but good. Wings could have been crispier (even ordered extra crispy), but my standards for wings are high being from Buffalo. 😬🤷‍♀️ I enjoyed the Mama Grotto pizza with super chunky sauce but the rest of my party wasn't feeling it. They preferred the standard pie. The BBQ sauce for the wings and the lemon pepper sauce were fantastic!

Love Grotto in Delaware. When I'm in DE on business, at the end I go there for a good Italian meal. They have the best pizza, specially pizzas, flat breads, bolis,and burgers, sandwiches. Plenty of dining space and an open bar. Flat screen TVs all around. My first time there in hot July 2023. And I am hooked.

We came in an hour prior to closing on a slow evening. I believe much of the waitstaff had been allowed to leave so the bartender provided us with service at a booth. He was excellent, checking in several times and ensuring that my girlfriend's water was refilled, as she had commented she felt a little dehydrated. The food was prepared quickly and arrived hot, which is not the kind of quality one can depend on when visiting a restaurant in its final hour. We left content and will be back, as this location has consistently provided a pleasant experience.

Watched an NFL play off game. Arrived early, sat for 5 hours. Great fi, GREAT service. Gina was the best!!

Ordered a large wild mushroom pizza. A white pizza with a combination of baby portobello, cremini , and white mushrooms marinated in cream thyme and spices topped with sautéed onions. The pizza had a lot of flavor and was good to the last slice. The price was a little high but worth it. Service was good. We ordered large Birch Beers . Delicious! We will definitely be back.
