Groton Townhouse Restaurant

Atmosphere was fine immediately seated. Staff was rude. Our waitress didn't even say hello, just can i start you with a drink? We ordered breakfast. I got the western omlette that comes with toast, home fries and the omlette. My spouse the 2 2 2 with scrambled eggs, chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. Pancakes were ok, not nearly enough chocolate chips for the 2 dollar up charge. First bite of his scrambled eggs he found egg shells. My toast was smeared in margarine- not butter. By the time we left it still wasn't melted. I took one bite. The home fries were gross. Unseasoned with an odd flavor. Ate 2. My western omelet was delicious. Filled with toppings, super cheesy. 3 bites in- egg shell. Waitress stopped in 1x 15 min or so after our food was delivered My spouse was done eating his p

1st time there. Was greeted immediately by a very nice woman who seated me right away. I was asked if I'd like coffee as well. The place was very clean and appears that being close to the Sub base supplies them with our soldiers as well which was nice to see. Food came out pretty quick. I ordered scrambled eggs and bacon (crispy), home fries, and dble english. They did not disappoint. Good food portions, I did ask for the home fries to be crispy but they didn't get that part right. They were still good thou. I'd come back for sure. Total was 20.37

Fantastic place! Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Neat little diner that made me feel at home. They also had Backstreet Boys on the radio. Would highly recommend! :)

One of the best restaurants I have been to. Down to earth and unpretentious. Large portions of terrific food from their huge and varied menu. I go out of my way to eat here whenever I can. Never disappointed. I've recommended it to family and friends and they have all thanked me heartily for it.

They always seat our large last minute no reservation party with a smile great service delicious food something for everyone on the menu including a tasty mimosa you won't be disappointed
