Customer Reviews
I’ve been eating at Grill Point for many years and today was one for the books! I really just came on here to say that we live Liz! She always makes us feel like family. So loving and attentive. It’s like she knows what she wants before we even ask. Thank you for a great meal!
Grill Point is a very good option for kosher food, with a solid location and generally fresh, tasty food. Most of the time, the quality is consistent and enjoyable. That said, there are two important things worth mentioning. First, there is no seating in the winter time. In reality, this makes it more of a takeaway spot, and for someone who prefers to sit down and eat comfortably, that’s a downside. Second, the laffa shawarma tends to be extremely oily. It’s noticeably more than expected, and it takes away from the overall experience. I’m not sure why it’s prepared that way, but it’s something that really should be addressed and fixed. Overall, good food and good potential, but these two points matter and could significantly improve the experience if handled better.
The owner is so kind and very friendly! The workers are so nice and the food is AMAZING!!! Portion sizes are good for the price :)
This is the best shawarma I have ever had!! And I consider myself as a shawarma warrior. A M A Z I N G!!!!
It was a totally fluke we ended up here. We had just finished 6 hours at the Met and on our way to a random food joint that we saw on Google maps and that looked easy. My 9 year old was really struggling and we came to this corner and decided to take a peak. Food looked good so thought we give it a try and hope our daughter would stop complaining. Turned out to be one of those awesome random travel experiences. The staff kind of sucks in the fact they could see we didn’t really know what we were doing and didn’t offer any help, but one we figured out we were in an Israel/ kosher place we started catching on. The food was all great. My wife and I shared the lamb and turkey bowl and we were stuffed. I wish my picture did it justice as there was so much meat on top you couldn’t see the boat
