Incredible service that goes above and beyond! I was chatting with the barista (owner?) about my appreciation for mufawaar, and he brought me a freshly prepared cup for the road - he said it’s for the cold weather outside! The drink itself was absolutely delicious (they only use Yemeni coffee beans for these), but the warm service alone is enough for me to make many return visits.
I come here just about everyday for lunch. The food is so fresh. I love their pistachio latte. The workers really get to know their customers without being pushy. They really make you feel like part of a community.
The barista is the sweetest ever! Was having such a rough day and i left the cafe feeling ten times better. The smallest gestures mean everything! Such a cute place for pictures as well. Definitely going back , my new favorite spot.
This place is a hidden gem in NYC, especially as a halal spot. It has fairly priced bagels (like insanely low priced bagels with plain cream cheese, especially for NYC) and the pastries are outstanding. The customer service is top notch regardless of the time of day and they have halal sandwiches as well. What a wonderful find!
Once in a while a place opens in the neighborhood that you hope will do well just so you can keep going there. That's exactly how I feel about Greenhill Coffee. The place is spotless and the food is excellent. I've never gotten any of their fancier pastries but they look like they would be great, especially if you were having a party. Aside from that, they are just the loveliest people. Always so welcoming and friendly. That's why I make a point of coming here for my coffee instead of one of the nearby big chains. If you don't believe me, check out the dozens of hand-written thank you notes posted around the place!
