I was so pleasantly surprised by the plant-based and gluten free options here, it’s so hard to find both together! The cashew mozzarella was incredible, and I can’t wait to bring my friends and family back to try more. They also have gluten free pasta, protein shakes, fresh juices and so many other delicious choices. I love that there are still meat options as well, so everyone can find something they’ll enjoy. A truly inclusive menu with amazing flavor! Amazing service!! Thank you for a healthy delicious lunch for the carrot juice shot as well! So yummy.
I stopped Green Oven Pizza to try vegan, gluten-free pizza for the first time and it was good. They also offer pasta, salads, and smoothies, plus regular (non-vegan) pizza slices. The space is roomy with plenty of seating, and their refreshing lemonade pairs perfectly with a slice. I’ll definitely be back to sample more of their vegan pizza as they have a good amount of options.
I had a great slice of pizza at Green Oven Pizza. Although it is a vegan sourdough gluten free eatery I loved the slice that I sampled. I got the margherita slice. Very large ample slice. I had them heat the slice until the crust was crunchy. It was delicious. I loved it. It tasted different than the regular pizzas I have had. Surprisingly it tasted better than the regular pizzas I have eaten. The pizzeria is a couple of blocks away from the Holiday Inn Express Hotel where I stay often when I go events in that area. I really liked the pizza.
One less star because it's a pizza place and pizza places really don't have a lot of atmosphere. ;-) However the food is stellar, catering to vegan and gluten-free alike with the best meatballs I've had in a long time! Super nice staff too!!!!
Amazing pizza for those looking for an organic unbleached flour crust! The owner and staff were super friendly and welcoming. All of the pizza was great, but the Margarita was the stand out. Some of the best I’ve ever had. If you have a gluten sensitivity and want some amazing NYC slices, look no further. The garlic knots were also very good. Wish we lived closer as we would be here often. Prices were also very reasonable considering the added cost of high quality ingredients. If you’re near Midtown, stop in and give place a try!
