Great Wall Restaurant

I have been eating here since it opened; both the buffet and takeout. They have had their ups and downs, but this last order was a real disappointment, and I think this will be the last visit for me. I asked for the boneless honey ribs with the sauce on the side, because we have diabetics in the house, and still there was sweet sauce on the bottom of the container under the meat. The sweet and sour pork was ok. The egg rolls were very greasy on one end. But the worst of all was the Pork Fried Rice and white rice. The Pork fried rice literally had about 1 Tbs. of meat. The rice itself was awful; it seems as if they have managed to find the worst rice ever made, and used it for both dishes.It's hard to ruin plain white rice, but they did; this was hard, dry, flavorless and had an odd taste.

Listen if you like Chinese food this is the spot. They also have a buffet setup all days there open till 3:30 ish!!! Very yummy and very kind!! They due lunch and dinner with top quality meat and veggies. There pride and quality of there food they turn out to the community is top notch!!!! If your in the town of orange va. Stop in and eat there located in the foodlion shopping center. Get there and get a great meal 😋

I know the name great wall, as far as Chinese restaurants go is more of a symbol I guess lol. But it's comforting to see one way out here in VA, when I grew up in Brooklyn and also had a great wall Chinese restaurant that we went to for several years. (rest in peace George) Anyways, the food was amazing. And the service was excellent. I ordered a general TSOs chicken with chicken fried rice and orange soda. 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿

I have the lunch buffet every Friday here. Always hot and stocked. Friendly service as well.

I normally go to Happy Garden. Decided to do a takeout order last Saturday and was extremely disappointed. The portions were a lot smaller and the food made me sick. Won’t be going back.
