Great Island Eatery

I first heard of this location while looking for restaurants in the area on a bike ride recently. With such mixed reviews, I hesitated to give it try. So glad I did! Fantastic experience, all around. I met two college roommate friends for lunch on a summer Monday. It was a perfect place for a beautiful day on the water. Note: there is a members gate at the parking lot. Park in any designated restaurant parking spot and walk down a short distance to the restaurant. Restrooms are housed between the parking lot and restaurant. Seating is all outside, or indoors open to air (it looked like there were plastic sides that could be rolled down for inclement weather). The server told us to sit anywhere we wanted. Went for lunch on 8/9/2025 Wish I remembered our server. She was polite, professional and friendly. Wore a UNH sweatshirt. Food was great and the view of The Marina was gorgeous. Will definitely return.

An excellent restaurant with outstanding water views! The food was impressive and included the best lobster roll I've had in a very long time and a shrimp cocktail that was likewise superb. The drinks were likewise good and included some of our favorite Exeter Brewing Company beers. A great staff that's friendly and efficient. A superb choice for a casual meal with a beautiful view of the water!

Extremley poor service, food was decent, price was on the high side. Waitress couldn't be bothered to bring us any requests that we made. Not even the check. I almost walked because when I finally got her attention, she ignored me.. extremely lazy. Stood over me as I calculated the tip.

Delicious food, great views and friendly service. They even have gluten free bread when requested. French fries are in a separate fryer, so they are also gluten free!
