Grantsburg Drive-In

Really great burger (California). One of the best I have had in the area with all fresh ingredients. Onion rings were also good, but interested in trying some of the other sides. Sunday was solid. Service was prompt and outside area all very clean.

We stopped here on our way back to the cities and it was such a good idea. The chicken strips, bacon cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings were all delicious!! Our server was so sweet and we loved our experience here and will definitely be back!

New ownership, so we were excited to give it a try. Walking into the restaurant a lottle past 6 pm on a saturday night, there weren't any signs stating to seat yourself or wait to be seated. After standing awkwardly, then getting someone's attention, we were told to seat ourselves. 7 minutes later, after trying to make eye contact with someone, we still didn't have anyone come to our table to give us menus or greet us. However, once that was worked out, our waiter was kind, although inattentive to drink needs. All the staff are quite young and inexperienced in customer service. I am sure they will get better with this over time. The food was quite slow as well. From the time we ordered and then got our food, it was almost an hour. This roadside diner has the most friendly staff! I was greeted and served by the owner herself and the staff were also wonderful and very helpful. They gave great recommendations on their menu choices and I had some of the largest and most delicious chicken strips I’ve ever had. The chocolate malt was the best treat on my trip back home. I highly recommend stopping and checking out this great restaurant, you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped today for lunch and was greatly disappointed 😞. Cute decor inside. Tables were cleaned off but STICKY. We moved to three different ones and they were all the same. Waitress was super sweet and friendly once we were finally waited on. We sat for 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. Had chicken strip basket with fries and a regular cheese burger and fires; large root beer float for beverage. Fries were yummy and my kiddo liked the chicken strips. My burger, however, was pink inside 🤢. I had them remake it and the second was the same way 🙄. Prices were very steep for what we got in my opinion.
