I'll start with the bad. When you call a place Granny's, that means certain things. It might mean down home cooking, but it definitely means experience and character and traditional recipes. But what you get here is really just a standard lunch place. Might as well be called Milo's or Something. So that was a little bit disappointing. The menu photo that Google maps had that was 10 months old has definitely been changed because the club sandwich had been bumped up to $8 now. But the burger was the real kicker. I ordered the cheeseburger plate/special, with tomato lettuce and onion. At 10 dollars for the burger, fries, and a drink, I will definitely not be ordering that again. I'd rather turn to pretty much anywhere like the nearby Hardee's or Cookout or Burger King. It might be a Sonic
I grew up outside of Louisburg and go back from time to time to visit family. This location has been a few different shops over the decades and my parents told me to check out Granny's. Ive only had the burgers and fries there but they were all awesome, well made, cooked perfectly, and delicious. And the price for the combo wasn't bad at all. Great little local spot to stop in and get some hand-made food and enjoy some local culture.
Ordered onion rings and this is what I was given. Called and asked for a refund and was told they couldn’t help me because this is how they make them. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN! Do better service.
Seen Granny's while passing through Louisburg & decided to stop in. They were steadily busy with people in the drive thru and walking in to order while i was there ordering & waiting. As well as from what i observed in the parking lot as i ate my meal. Order a hamburger, fries, sweet tea, & a side of fried okra. I like mom & pop style places. The food was good & simple overall. I will visit again to try their liver snack or gizzard snack. -Hamburger was simple with lettuce, tomato, pickle, onions (could have had a bit more), mayo & ketchup (from ketchup packet). I enjoyed it. -French fries were nicely salted. Mix of some cooked soft & majority cooked to a golden scrisp. Nothing fancy or overly seasoned is perfect for me. -Fried okra was nicely cooked! Not greasy or overly breaded. The onl
Just had lunch from Granny's. Haven't eaten there for a while but I remembered them being slow but worth the wait. This is no longer the case. My sausage dog was burnt and the fries seemed to be reheated. My co-workers onion rings didn't even look like food. Last time I will ever eat food from there.
