Augustus Grill

I was in town and decided to step in for a quick snack since the menu looked quite appetizing. I got the Mac and cheese bites with a corona and man, these were delicious! They were perfectly crisped with a warm melty Mac and cheese inside that put and immediate smile on my face. There were so many other options i wanted to try but I’ll just have to come back for those. They have TVs with sports on inside and a great view of the golf coarse to look at while you eat. Service was top notch and you can tell the ownership truly cares about everyone that comes through their doors. 10/10 would come back

Got the Mushroom Swiss Birger and it was LEGIT. The mushrooms were flavorful, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the burger was super juicy without being greasy. Delicious and definitely something I’d order again. Get it with a side of macaroni salad! It is the best!

I just had a wonderful culinary experience at Augustus Grill located in the River Golf Community. Before I share my experience with you, I want to make sure you get there. It is in the River Gulfing Community. Everyone has access to the restaurant. You do not have to belong to the River Gulfing Community to have access to the restaurant. Upon arriving in the River Community, you will see an entrance at the big brick wall. After entering through the big brick wall, immediately follow the signs of Augustus grill and River golf. Do not follow the yellow brick road as things can get complicated. The first sign is on your left. They are not noticeably big. Augustus Grill has blossomed into a first-rate restaurant that offers a wide variety of menu options at very reasonable prices. The indoor seating is limited - but comfortable. The spacious Deck is one of the best dining venues within miles. It's peaceful, scenic, bucolic and relaxing. Service is friendly and the dishes we have tried were well-prepared, innovative and delicious. The Grilled Salmon with Lemon Butter Sauce ($21 with two sides) was as good as any I have had. The thick loin was pleasantly crunchy with a quick burst of tangy flavor. The inside was juicy, flaky and tender. The Roasted Mixed Vegetables were slightly undercooked, allowing the flavors of the Carrots, Cauliflower and Broccoli to stand out. Great place to enjoy a quick dinner. We always receive wonderful customer service from everyone, especially Kia. We also like that you can bring leashed dogs on the back deck. Sunny loves to come enjoy dinner out with us.
