Grain House 尚禾坊

Love love love this place. One of the best sichuan restaurants I have been to. Flavors are amazing. Portions are big for the price. And the people there are so friendly and nice. My daughter loved it so much she declared this would be her chosen last meal if she ever need to make that decision 😂

Dined in here on a Sunday evening as a party of 6. We were one of two parties here, it seems like this place still mostly operates as takeout/delivery. Upon entering, we were seated by the windows and the staff was very friendly they served us water in red solo cups. There's a promotion going on right now where you geta plate of free fried dumplings or soup dumplings with a $30 dine in purchase. We didn't know this at first, but the let us know since we had ordered enough food. We got the spicy fish fillet in chili oil, Dan Dan noodles, spicy and sour soup, stir fried green beans, spicy hot pot with fatty beef. Very kind staff! They have a lot of good options for us. I really like their mapo tofu, honey black pepper beef, bamboo tips with pork, bean curd with pork, and cold chicken in hot sauce! Th pork dishes are always consistently amazing. I am so glad that I tried those dishes from the Grain House, and they were so delicious! Even their white rice is tasty. The best thing was that the dishes were not too salty. I did not feel thirsty afterward! Though they are far away from my place, I order often from them whenever I crave for good Chinese food! Thank you chefs for the good food!

Good Chinese restaurant outside China town. I took my college age daughter and her room mate to this place and we had a feast. Clean interior, easy to find. Food was great. Price was ok. Everything we had was tasty and the portions were good, too. Only pet peeves for me was that the food were served in plastic dishes. That made the food look cheap. Also, I prefer to eat food from non plastic dishes especially at a restaurant like this.

This place is pretty good. The food here is tasty, many different options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Service was good and we got the food very quickly. The one thing that bothered us it that we had a hair in our appetizer (earwood salad), which was absolutely delicious up until the point we realized there was a hair in it..
