Googans Galley

This is the cutest little café in the heart of Essex that offers a wide variety of drinks, food, and pastries. We enjoyed our drinks and the pastries that we got. I got the iced chai latte, and it did taste good though it lacked a little flavor. We also got a mocha, and that tasted very good as well. The staff was super kind, and super fast when fulfilling orders. They made great conversation and looked genuinely happy to be there. Definitely stop by this café!

Googan’s puts every effort into their handmade sandwhiches and authentic coffee. Fresh made bread and espresso full of flavor, this is a rare find! They even have a cute country store with local products and premade meals/snacks.

I love it here it is amazing and it is the best cafe I have ever been too! I’ll be back as soon as possible! They also have the best seasonal flavors, pumpkin spice and vanilla is a favorite for sure. Also the mint tea is amazing!!! Everyone who works here is amazing! You should go there as often as possible! And as soon as possible They have the best food, best employees and a great relaxing vibe, perfect for the colder weather that is coming! They have AMAZING people working there!!!!!! 💗💗

We ordered a gluten free funfetti cake for a member of our team. Good gluten free is hard to find and this cake was delicious. The frosting was really delicious. We really appreciate that they offer this.

We are visiting from out of state, but I grew up just over the Essex border in West Gloucester. In recent years we have frequented The Mill, but they are closed, sending us to venture to Googan's Galley, and I am thankful to have another new favorite!!! Our second time coming in. We have tried some of their treats, coffee, as well as breakfast and lunch offerings. Wow, everything has been SO DELICIOUS. The staff is incredibly friendly and informative. My mom says she is in love with all of their frozen offerings, as well. Many things on the shelves for home or gifts. We are here for a few more days and plan to enjoy Googan's at least a couple more times! Thanks staff!
