Blue Marlin Grille

Visiting from Las Vegas NV. My sister lives in Salem Massachusetts and they brought us here for lunch. Had the calamari shrimp cocktail for appetizers fantastic. All our entree's were amazing my shrimp scampi was delicious 😋 highly recommend this place! Our waitress Courtney was a joy 😊😊 she was very attentive great service!! ❤️❤️

Today marked the first 80° day of 2025, and we took full advantage of it with a visit to Gloucester and Rockport, Massachusetts. While walking along the beach walkway in Gloucester, a friendly tourist from New Hampshire recommended Blue Marlin Grille to us. It wasn’t far off our route home, so we decided to stop by around 4 p.m. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with complimentary bacon bread and freshly whipped house-made butter. Both were delicious and just enough to warm up our appetite for the main course. Following the recommendation, we ordered the seafood plate and the house burger. Big dishes at very low prices. I took some pictures after we ate half. I had French onion soup and chicken wings. My wife had clam strips and haddock. Way too much food. Took half home. Food tasted fantastic.

We always have a wonderful time at Blue Marlin. Great food with large portions, excellent staff and service, and an overall positive and homey atmosphere. We sat at the bar, Matt was awesome and took care of us!

Lobster Pie was amazing. Full lobster meat, claws, tail, knuckles in a delicious congac cream sauce topped with buttery bread crumbs. Best lobster pie anywhere. Delicious! Also had perfectly fried clams as an appetizer. As good as anywhere including that famous name down the street. Great service. Saw some fried dinners on other tables and they were huge! This place is a winner.
