Good News Café & Ice Cream

Best ice cream I’ve had in my life so far which is wild to say. The cookies and cream was so good. Fig and honey was amazing. The vanilla? Omg never had a better scoop and i’m not a vanilla fan. Color changing spoons and the vibe of the little place is so cute. Service was amazing. I’m sad i live so far from here.

One of the top places to get ice cream in the downtown area of Madison . Every time I have come in the flavors are rotated and whatever we have tried is so well made and creamy . No frost burn or left over crumbly ice cream as have found at other places . My favorite flavor is by far the fig although they do not always have it . Very unique and special ice cream . Their butter pecan is rich and with depth : another favorite . Staff is always helpful and very fast . I have not encountered a wait or long lines whenever I have been here. Seating is available inside and outside .

Yummy ice cream at a delicious price that won't break the bank for families. Flavorful and rich ice cream here. They also offer a few selections dairy free ice cream. We tried the ice cream flight that was perfect for sampling a few flavors. Complete with toppings. For those grown ups, you can also have your ice cream with a bit of liquor in the various adult shakes recipes they offer. In addition to ice cream you can purchase breakfast and lunch items such as sandwiches, breakfast burritos and coffee. Moreover, they offer shirts for sale. A nice twist if you buy a shirt you get s free scoop. Various board games provide for a nice and relaxing evening with your party. Kudos to the staff members like Henry.

Friendly service. Only one server behind the counter... Could have used one more person. But the ice cream was delicious! Fun place! I would go again the next time I am in Madison.

Good News Café has a few vegan options, and the Mexican hot chocolate tasted accurate to the drink itself. Though I wanted something with more of a rich chocolate flavor, I’d recommend it to someone looking for something light. There’s indoor and outdoor seating and the atmosphere can be lively.
