Golden's

I can’t tell you what you’re missing until you step in to get a feel and taste. It’s a small joint and and this guy engages in conversation, makes your meal in front of you, and you get to enjoy the the experience. Definitely a place I’d go for lunch if you need a new spot, or every Tuesday kinda place. Love this place and the pic is a Utica Burger with garlic fries

This place is great! Owner/operator is a cool and kind cat, a retired chef with lots of great stories if you ask him. He slings delicious eggs and will get you in and out quickly if you need it! The atmosphere of this little triangular hole in the wall diner is, true to form, golden.

Golden’s is a favorite spot for a classic diner vibe. In addition to the atmosphere, the owner cooks food on the spot and with great intention and passion. For example, yogurt is homemade, pickled ramps foraged locally show up in a simple tomato salad side with smoked gouda. It’s the attention to detail that sets Golden’s apart from many businesses today. It’s hard not to be present with what you’re eating, which makes for a Golden experience (pun-intended 😋).

10 out of 10! Stopped by this charming small corner spot for breakfast! I had the corn bread bubble waffle with NY pure maple syrup and a side of bacon. It was so DELICIOUS! The owner, Jeff, is friendly and cooks right on the spot for you. The menu is straightforward yet thoughtful featuring different daily specials. Was visiting for work and discovered it on my last day, bummed I didn’t find it sooner because I would have come here every morning.

Classic diner greasy spoon type of food. It’s a one man show with only the chef there. Amazing and delicious food and I thought the corn bubble waffles were fantastic. Never had them before and I think it’s a new favorite now.
