Ordered jerk chicken for lunch to go around 12:45 pm and the meat was way too dry! Over cooked or over heated. The jerk seasoning could barely be tasted. As if it had been cooked days before and warmed up to serve. Asked for gravy, got none on the meat, and barely any on the rice. The cabbage was fine. For true authentic cooking, flavor and moisture is everything.....

Five star doesn’t mean it was the best I’ve ever tasted but overall on my first visit I don’t see any reason to drop a star. In a plaza, cafeteria style display although some entrées come from the back. Prices seem fair and they had lunch specials at reduced prices. You can order small or large portion. They have fresh juices. I like the hibiscus, but I didn’t like the cucumber. I ordered a small drink and it was $6.25 and appeared to be a large. If this was their small then I wonder what their large looks like. I ordered a large veggie plate and they loaded it. I asked for double cabbage, instead of rice and peas, along with peas w/dumplings and a couple plantains. I should have asked for more plantains and less peas. Dumplings are just fillers, I prefer the dish without the dumplings. th

Ohhh my goodness 🥰 I love love love the greens here, and the plantains are so mouthwatering delicious, you all have to go in to this restaurant and eat and make sure that you see Londun at the front counter who is such a wonderful, beautiful soul young lady, she helped me out and was very professional and sweet as can be... I am a forever customer at Golden crust Caribbean restaurant. I love exotic foods. The flavor is an unforgettable flavor in your mouth.👏🏽🥰 oh and did I mention the lunch special price is only $9.99. Y'all better catch the specials.💓

I ordered jerk, chicken, rice, and peas and macaroni and cheese. This is my go to and it’s always a 10 out of 10 but for some reason today, the jerk sauce was not even jerking. The macaroni and cheese lack flavor in the rice was very, very soft and soggy I spent $12 for this and did not enjoy it. I will be disputing the charges and get my money back.

This food cost too much for them to ever give old or dried out food. We always get the stew chicken or oxtails and it’s usually on point. But today the stew chicken was too hard and too dry and we bought two plates. Unacceptable. No one enjoys buying food that they can’t eat.
