Golden Dragon Restaurant

Got our order completely wrong. Called the restaurant to ask if they could exchange it. Kindly asked if we could exchange it for the proper Order. She said no come back again next time. Over $70 worth of food and only three orders were right. Not to mention the portion size absolutely crazy small. If you’re gonna eat here, do it at your own risk? But I would highly suggest not considering this has happened to me multiple times. That soup was considered enough for two people. The individual bowl you get when you sit down is bigger than that 😂 and it ended up being about $22 per meal 😤

Kelly and everyone at the Golden Dragon are always great. The food is what you would expect from a quality mandarin/chinese american restaurant. We come here whenever we have that hankering and we are never let down. Very grateful to have a local establishment with such great food and people.

I was looking for something similar to the old Kaylon on Division in Spokane, or the dragon Inn in Spokane Valley before they retired. This place is as close as I can find to the old style food that I miss so much. Our waitress today at lunch was incredibly nice and the have schuline noodles (not sure how to spell it) we had a few combos and everything was good. Soup needed a kick in my opinion and I like my teat stronger. My husband loved his food and I really enjoyed my cashew chicken and almond chicken! Rice was nice with a good touch with the pork on top. Good flavor. The place was very chilly for my families preference and seemed like it needs an update so that is why the 3 stars. Service was wonderful and food was on point.

The service was very good. Inside is much larger than it appears on the outside, and they could accommodate our party of 8. The food was typical Asian American food. Sauces were very sweet. Their spicy hot dishes were not spicy.

I adore this restaurant. I grew up in Post Falls and I remember when they opened, they hosted a field trip for Seltice Elementary. The teachers at school told us to eat our lunch because we would only be getting samples, but when we got there, we each got served full entrees, and got to take home the leftovers, it was amazing. It was the first year they opened and the only time they did that. I'm 37 and still come back when I can. Great food, great service. I understand people's complaints that it has gotten pretty expensive compared to what we started out with, but that is the way the world goes. It's always a treat to eat there.
