Golden Creme Donuts

Hands down some of the most delicious donuts around. Fresh, perfectly made, and not overly sweet, just solid, classic donuts done right. The prices are also refreshingly reasonable compared to other donut shops, which makes it way too easy to come back more often than planned. Great quality, great value, and always a satisfying stop. Highly recommend if you’re a donut fan.

Golden crème donuts AKA “Andrew’s” is an Ignacio staple. My family has been going to this mom and pop shop for over 30 years. Donuts and breakfast food are great and at a good price. Don’t let any of the bad reviews fool you, you get a better breakfast sandwich or donut at a better price point than any chain coffee or donut shop. I’m an old fashion donut guy, and haven’t had a better one yet elsewhere. Support local and go to Andrew’s!

Grew up coming to this donut shop before or after school, back when they used to have ice cream too. I loved getting a scoop of mint chip from Andrew (the owner). I live in town still but opposite ends. There are at least 2 or 3 donut shops closer to me but I'll drive across town to come get the best ones Novato has! Not only because Andrew remembers me and asks about my family but because he really makes the best donuts in town and a delicious ham & cheese stuffed croissant!

Finally came by when it was open! Business hours aren't posted, but what was good to know is that the shop closes early on weekends (which is why I never saw them open) and occasionally they'll close early on weekdays. Staff was friendly and donuts are yummy! Picked up a dozen donuts to take into the office and was not disappointed. The old fashioned and buttermilk donuts have a nice crunch on the outside. Original glazed donuts can't beat Krispy Kreme but are definitely better than Safeway donuts!
