Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

10/10 Golden Corral location. Two things stood out to me the most: Service- Amanda was very attentive and friendly, Dustin was also friendly and eager to help, and the man behind the grill counter was quite friendly and helpful. I'm sorry I didn't see his name tag. Food- tasted very fresh and the pork steak had lots of flavor. Nice salad bar, and the steaks we're delicious too! The iced tea was also fresh! Also, just fyi, if you need to get cash for a tip then they will give you cash back at the register for no additional fee.

Stopped in tonight a little after 8, and to my surprise not very many patrons tonight. However this is a night time gem in this area if you ask me. Dustin greeted me as soon as I walked in and seemed very pleased to help me tonight. My server Mike did an awesome job keeping my table clean and drink filled. Even the people in the kitchen very hospitable and friendly, willing to help and answer your questions. I will definitely be back just for the friendly, welcoming dining experience. I have to say the food was delicious even for it not being a busy, you could tell the staff and manager at this location are very caring and proud of the food and service they provide to their patrons by the quality, temperature, and freshness of products available and the unmatched service. Average food, above average staff. This is one of the more friendly and cleanest ones I have been to. The staff is always so kind.

Listen, say what you want about GC… my experience here was spot on. No time spent belly sick either so you tell me it doesn’t deserve a five star review. Our server was wonderful in all seriousness. One soup trip I made the comment that it could have been hotter but I went for a buffet experience and ended up needed a nap… I call that a win. Will return to test my chances another time. 🤌🏼

My husband I are traveling back to Virginia Beach, from visiting our son at VT. We stopped for lunch and met the friendliest Golden Corral staff ever. Everyone smiled and were very attentive to our particular needs…without being overly attentive. We found it very pleasant that the manager was helping the staff with everything and addressed our needs and even offered ranch dressing for the wings my husband was eating. I liked the cleanliness and teamwork of the kitchen staff. Everyone was dressed professionally and looked very clean. We both commented about the pleasant lunch we had at this particular Golden Corral. I plan to make it a regular stop when driving through again!
