Golden Corral in Thornton definitely deserves 5 stars for what it offers — a massive selection of food at a great price. For just $13.99 for a weekday lunch, you get endless options including salads, appetizers, entrées, and desserts. It’s a true all-you-can-eat experience with something for everyone. The staff is very prompt and attentive. They clear the tables right away when you go for your next plate, and they even offered to bring water to my table and help me find a seat — small gestures that make a big difference. That said, the food taste and interiors could use some improvement, but the value and variety more than make up for it. Our dining experience was outstanding, thanks to Jared, our attentive waiter. We visited Golden Corral in Thorton to celebrate my mother-in-law's 77th birthday. The service was impeccable, with our glasses always full. We felt extremely well taken care of!

I had the difficult task of having to arrange the meal for my step-father's celebration of life this last fall. The family wanted roast beef and mashed potatoes with brown gravy, corn and rolls, as that was his favorite meal. I got bids from many local restaurants and the manager at this Golden Corral was so incredible. He helped me with a perfect meal at an insane price. No other bid could come close to what they were offering. They came right on time, set up the heated platters and unloaded all the food and put them in the warmers for us. They pre-sliced all the meat. They provided all the serving untesils. The food was delicious and was just a little more that we needed for our 250 guests. I’ve heard a lot of people tell me they didn’t personally like Golden Corral, but for me, it’s 5 stars! I really like their variety of food for the value & I come here often! I understand it’s not the highest quality food available, but there are a lot of very fresh options & the price is right. The salad bar sometimes looks a little iffy & could be more fresh (at least the lettuce & vegetables), but everything else is pretty solid for buffet food. They especially get points for their weekend breakfast buffet. Absolutely delicious. I wish it stayed breakfast hours a little longer, but I’m very grateful the breakfast buffet exists. Make sure to try the banana bread french toast & get a fresh made omelette! 👨🏻‍🍳

Good customer service and decent meal. Fruit was limited and there was a small amount of wait times in order to get some steaks @ the grilled.
