- Service was great (Fast, Friendly & Knowledgeable). - Food was amazing! You get big portions, a lot of options on the menu and it tastes amazing! - Ambiance is good, seating area is spaced, clean and good toilets.
When you walk into a café for breakfast and see that all the tables are full, you know you’re at a popular restaurant with excellent food. The atmosphere was charming and the service was fast and friendly. I had the chorizo scramble and a single pancake. The pancake was the best I’ve ever had. I recommend gold minor Café for the food, the friendly staff and the reasonable fare.
Great little spot with fantastic service and good food. It smelled delicious when we walked through the door. There was a clean table for us instantly and our coffee was quick to come as well. Hot and fresh and strong enough. We are happy we found this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone wanting a cafe style meal. We were there at breakfast time so that’s what we got. They had real butter on the fluffy pancakes and the sausage was very tasty as well.
Great cafe for a hearty American brunch in Folsom! It is located at an outdoor strip mall with lots of parking. It doesn't look much from the outside but has a cute decor once you are in (think large wall clock and painted windows with an old town west view outside). We got seated immediately and our server was an older, sweet lady who was friendly and quick. Her recommendation was right on the spot! We ordered freshly squeezed orange juice, hot chocolate, the country eggs Benedict and the chili Verde skillet. The orange juice was definitely freshly squeezed and delicious. The hot chocolate was good. Portions for our main dishes were huge. We were able to have a full brunch, an evening snack and a full dinner for 2 out of those two dishes. The country scramble was yummy - good sausage, d
I visited this location on February 10th. The complaint I have is with the portion. The food was tasty and the waitresses were great. But for $20 I expect at least the size of an omelet for a scramble dish. My portion was considerably smaller than my partners omelette. I didn't want to complain and fear of the cook messing with my food. Of course I have options to eat anywhere else which might be the case going forward. It's sad because this seems to be one of the only country breakfast houses around the area. Needless to say, ultimately I was disatisfied.
