Glen Cove’s 1883 Lounge

I got the burger and requested them to add cheddar cheese. They instead substituted the cheese instead of having both cheeses. Waitresses also tried taking away my company’s plate while I was still clearly eating. Any half decent server should know that’s bad etiquette at this nice of a restaurant. That rushes the person still eating, while making them feel uncomfortable. Quality of lava cake was pretty bad. Tasted the freezer burn on the ice cream and the cake itself tasted like dry box mix and low quality chocolate syrup. Waitress was friendly. Environment was nice. Food was good. Just was disappointed with the things stated.

This hidden gem is in the basement of the Glen Cove hotel. Wonderful bartenders, a cozy very unique vibe and outstanding food & drinks are what will keep patrons coming back for more. I was greeted immediately upon arrival by Christine, the very sweet hostess. I was taken care of so well by both bartenders, Angie & Heather and after a bit at the bar, they had fun karaoke. 100% will be back and can’t wait for the summer! Excellent find 10/10

Everything about this place was awesome. Drinks were strong, portions were big, and food delicious. Angie and Wade provided fast and friendly service, which made our experience that much better. Can’t believe it took me this long to get here but I will definitely be back!

This place is unbelievable! The food and service is outstanding! It has a speak easy vibe, very nice. Our server, Shannon was on point! She was very attentive and knowledgeable and did not spill one drop of my hot and dirty martini which I very much appreciated. Also one of the best charcuterie boards I have had out in a restaurant- must try and we'll worth it. Bonus- karaoke on Sunday nights at 7, great local crowd.

Think we've been here 4 times! Good live music. Bartenders make great drinks and are super friendly.Loved wings (3x!!!) And loved the crab cake appetizer and steak& cheese egg rolls
