Gjoni's Bar and Restaurant

Service was really good. Gelato was excellent. The food was very underwhelming. For a place that charges $35 dollars for a NY strip, asked for medium rare, what we got was overcooked and wet, almost like a mediocre version of what you might get with steak and eggs at a diner. It also had a sour taste. We sent ours back in exchange for fish and chips, which ended up being hit and miss as well. The house salad was great, tasted fresh and featured different flavors that meshed well together. Drinks are average. Plastic containers for toppings or dressings was off-putting for the dine-in setting.

We tried Gjoni's tonight for the first time - it was great! They have a bogo 50% for pizza right now and I'm so glad we were able to try two small pizzas! We tried the sweet heat chicken pizza and it was good - my son absolutely loved it - it's just not my taste for pizza! We also tried the royal pizza and it was delicious - more my style and the crust is really good! We ordered some gelato to take home and I'm too full to try right now, but I bet it's wonderful, based on other reviews! Our server Lindsay was awesome! She was friendly and always filled our water. The old place and decorations could use a good dusting, but that's about it.

Or the meatball pizza with dollops of ricotta, dollops of ricotta were not on. Asked our waitress to check and she said that they spread it on the pizza. It was not spread on the pizza. Took a while for someone to approach us to get seated calamari was okay. They have a sign at the table that they're invatable and they sure seem to be still figuring things out. Was not offered any break on the food even though it was not made correctly

Have dined there twice. Service is excellent and the house salad is delicious. Pizza is very good. Crust is great, toppings plentiful. Only weakness is their red sauce, we have had it on two dishes which lacks flavor. Servings are ample. I recommend giving it a try. Nice local, non-chain restaurant.

We visited Gjoni’s for the first time with our children as a family. We were seated promptly and also greeted immediately by our waitress to ask what we wanted for drinks, which we really appreciate having young children. We ordered a pizza for our kids to share and they really enjoyed it, it was cheesy and delicious! My husband and I both got burgers, he got the olive burger and said it was the best he’s had (a high compliment coming from someone who has tried many olive burgers). I had the fig sweet bacon and goat cheese burger and it was delicious, a nice balance of sweet and savory, not like any burger I’ve had before in a good way! I also enjoyed their shoe string fries that came with the burger, they were crispy and fresh. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, food was delicious and the
