A friend from work recommended this place for their Reuben sandwiches. When I looked them up I saw they also served breakfast, so I decided to try them out and I was not disappointed. I ordered the philly steak omelette, rye toast, and coffee. The coffee was phenomenal. The hash browns were super crispy. The queso on the omelette was the perfect compliment to the copious amounts of thin sliced steak, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. The omelette itself was thick and fluffy. My only minor gripe is that I wished the rye toast had a stronger rye flavor, but that's just personal preference. Everything was amazing and I'll definitely be back to try more of their breakfast and lunch offerings.

Great vegan/alpha gal options and the food and service is always top-notch. One of our favorite spots when we are visiting this area!

So we've been here twice in the last month and have loved it. I first came here as a recommendation to try their impossible burger, but then I realized they had a Vegan Reuben and I had to try that first. It was so good, and the bread was perfectly toasted and everything. The next time I came and got the Impossible burger and of course they didn't disappoint. The staff are so welcoming and patient and they make you want to come back for the atmosphere and not just the food. And then the carrot cake....it lasted on the table for maybe a minute lol. It was moist and light and delicious. Definitely, check them out because it's great food. It comes to you timely and it's nice being around nice people who really care ☺️

Came for comfort food after seeing sick for almost a week and my go to - corned beef hash with hollandaise did not hit the spot. The potatoes and hollandaise were good but the corned beef was grisly and tough. After 2-3 bites I couldn't chew, I just ate the potatoes. The chicken noodle soup was good but small portion for the price. Will try again here because they had bagels with Lox, which I've been wanting to order but unable to find locally, and other things on the menu that looked good.

I had the most amazing breakfast at the stateside deli! Let me tell you, I ordered the happy hash with basted eggs, and it was absolutely delicious. And those sausage links Oh my goodness, they were incredibly tasty. To top it off, the toast was so good, it practically screamed "holla!" The service was exceptional - fast and friendly. I never had to worry about my coffee running low because it was always topped up. And let me tell you about the kitchen staff - they were incredibly nice. I felt so welcomed and taken care of. I'm definitely coming back to the stateside deli the next time I find myself in Okemos and in need of a good meal.
