Gios Italian Kitchen Myrtle Beach

Came is with a party of 9 for a birthday dinner. This was our first time to this restaurant and it did not disappoint!! We are locals and have found our new FAVORITE Italian spot!! The appetizers we loved were both mussels with red and white sauce and the calamari. The escargot was the only thing we had the entire night that we didn’t care for. I highly recommend the stuffed lobster ravioli!! I also highly recommend the lavender martini!! The Brussel sprouts were also great! Our waitress Lisa was amazing and took the best care of us all night! We will be back!!

Since my wife and I moved to the area from New England a few months ago we have tried 5 or 6 different italian restaurants and have had some ok dishes but Gio’s, hit the nail right on the head!! Caroline, our server, was outstanding, gave great recommendations and was very attentive!! For apps, we had the meatballs and muscles which had great flavor and cooked to perfection! Sorry, forgot to take pictures of those dishes. For entrees, I had Ravioli con Aragosta and my wife had Crema Del Mar and both dishes were fantastic!! We will definitely frequent this establishment. I consider Gios fine dining. Our server was AWESOME! She took great care of our table and you could tell she takes great pride in her work. I got the Lobster stuffed Ravioli and a side Caesar salad. The salad was very good and the Ravioli was very tasty. While you're waiting on entree's, you are served bread with a homemade oil and balsamic glaze. The flavors of the oil and glaze were so freaking good! I cannot recommend this place enough!

My husband and I brought a fried to Gios for dinner. We sat at a table in the bar area to eat. Our waiter brought us water and took our order. He was the bartender and was waiting on all the tables in the area. We had to ask the gentleman that brought our food to get us more water. We waited about 20 minutes after we finished our meal to get a couple boxes and our checks. Our waiter had not been back to our table. My husband finally asked the girl that seated us to send the manager. She didn’t come so my husband gets up goes to her. The waiter finally brought boxes and our check. He didn’t ask how we wanted our checks so he had to take the check back and split it. He said he was busy which he was. I would think an upper scale restaurant could afford enough help to properly take care of t

Gios is the best ITALIAN restaurant from Wilmington, NC to Myrtle Beach!!! We had an incredible time for my birthday and would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant as a New Yorker!!! We are very particular and LOVED everything we had on the menu! We enjoyed our delicious calamari, escargot, chicken parm, chicken picatta and tiramisu!!!! We will definitely be back!!! The service was incredible, our waiter was FANTASTIC, he had such a wonderful personality and made my birthday special!!!! It is worth the trip from the Wilmington, NC area as we do not have an authentic Italian restaurant like Gios in the area!!! Look forward to supporting again and again!!!!
