Ginza Don

Genza Don in Manhattan is an absolute gem. The donburi is consistently fresh and flavorful, with generous portions and perfectly cooked rice. The quality of the fish really stands out, and everything tastes thoughtfully prepared. Service is friendly and efficient, even during busy hours. Cozy spot for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner—definitely one of my go-to places in the city. Highly recommend!

Stopped by during their opening promo and was honestly impressed. The teriyaki chicken + beef combo was really good — tender chicken, flavorful beef, and the sauce over rice was the highlight. Portions are generous and everything is freshly grilled. Each bowl comes with an onsen egg and you can choose free sides, which is a nice touch. Solid Japanese donburi spot, especially for a quick and satisfying lunch. Would come back even after the promo.

New location is much more spacious. Their pork cutlet and pork slices rice bowls are my fav. Super flavorful. Love the concept of customizing topics and the onsen egg. Great big portions
