Giardino's Family Restaurant

When looking over reviews for this restaurant, kind of a mixed bag some people really love it. Other people are turned off, so I decided to go and experience it. When entering the restaurant, you definitely get an old school vibe kind of reminds me of my grandmother‘s basement. We ordered several different dishes off the menu all came out hot and tasty. After looking over review complaints, I think people have to realize this is not a downtown Hyannis bougie restaurant, and once you take a step back and realize the vibe of the place then a lot of the negative complaints about the place kind of go away. I had the fish and chips. It was the cheapest price I found in probably all of Cape Cod and it was good chunks of fish. Everything we ordered came out promptly. Everything was hot and tasty.

A very popular spot with locals, this no frills restaurant and bar always seems to draw large crowds at dinner time. I enjoy the pizzas, and we’ve had good luck with their pasta dishes as well. Service could be a bit speedier, but overall it’s a decent restaurant if you’re looking for something less touristy.

We go every year the service we had this time was great. He was very friendly, very attentive. He had a cute little accent and was very friendly. We split the antipasti special that came with the small pizza. It was perfect and just enough for both. We took the bread pudding home for dessert, it was ok, a little too chocolate for me. I would definitely continue to go back. Great for kids too.

The food was homemade. Loved the lasagna, meatballs and freshly made Greek salad. Our server was sweet and attentive. Wish I remembered her name.

Went off season to have pizza. We went in and waited to be seated but no one came. Bar was busy and waitstaff saw us. We seated ourselves. There wasn't anyone else in the dining area except for us. Waited again and no one came. So we got up to see if we could get service and over heard the wait staff say " i guess they can't read" regarding the wait to be seated sign. Told her we could read and I think it caught her off guard she was instantly nice. We ordered boneless wings, they were decent, not really any complaints. The pizza on the other hand a different story. It was small. And appeared to be like a frozen pizza you could buy from stop and shop. We ate it. It wasn't terrible. Just disappointing and kind of pathetic. We won't be going back.
