Get Real Cafe

The lady who owns this place is extremely kind. Needed a meat alternative for breakfast (fasting for Lent) and she completely accommodated with a variety of options. I was so touched by her desire to help me find a delicious alternative to bacon. Well done. 5 stars.

You can't go wrong with the Get Real Cafe! Especially if you need gluten free options. My family and I eat here all the time when we're in Sturgeon Bay (which is often--my parents live there). The food is fresh and delicious and the cafe owners are the best people! I personally bought a great gluten free cookie for desert and a gluten free scone for breakfast the next day. Gluten free is a little hard to find in Sturgeon Bay and Get Real Cafe is one of my favorite places to go for good gluten free options. If you're looking for a fun atmosphere in Door County, they also deliver on that with local artwork for viewing and with some for sale. Farm to table, organic restaurant. Very good! 100% recommended. Local, organically raised veggies and meats. Order at counter and pick a table. Not terribly crowded when we visited, but got busy. Honestly have never tasted breakfast so delicious. We had biscuits and gravy with a side of toast and sausage, avocado toast, and a buffalo chicken wrap. All beautifully presented and served with a small orange smoothie. Breakfast and lunch hours. $$

I went in with my family thinking I would just order a juice. After I spoke with the friendly staff, I knew they could accommodate my allergy and I had a wonderful meal out. Must try the macerated red onions. So good!! And the purple paradise juice. My family ordered the Caprese melt w healthy bacon and there wasn’t a crumb left. Thank you Get Real Cafe! Great staff, friendly customers, and a nice big open area to sit and enjoy. Aloha!

We got the buffalo chicken wrap and the Free Bird. The wrap was good and had a sold spice to it! The Free Bird was alittle too dry for me. Could have used alittle more sauce. Definitely cute place for a mix of self service and full service. Order your food and pick your own spot to eat and they will bring it out once it’s ready. We really enjoyed the atmosphere here.
