Black Walnut Guest House Bed & Breakfast

What an incredible Bed and Breakfast! We reserved the Arts & Crafts room and LOVED the fireplace. The room was clean and cozy! Our breakfast was fresh and right on time. They were quick and responsive to any notices or questions we had! We are already planning on bringing my brother in-law next time!

My husband found this place for our 4 year anniversary. He has never been to Door County and it was the perfect time to go because there was a Fall Festival happening up in Sister Bay. Both of us had an amazing time and our room was perfect for us. We absolutely loved the spiral staircase up to the jacuzzi tub. The breakfast that gets delivered to our door was delicious! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. I did post some pictures after we had stayed our 2 nights. I loved the door hanger options.

My partner and I have stayed at the Black Walnut twice now. We plan to make it a regular getaway spot, and have nothing but wonderful things to say about the entire experience. The house and rooms are so charming, while also having very up-to-date accommodations. Everything is very clean and well maintained. The food is delicious, and they were accommodating to our dietary restrictions both visits. ||Location wise, they are in a great spot in Sturgeon Bay, and there are so many excellent nearby choices for food, activities, and spots to enjoy nature. Many things are even walkable, or less than a 5 minute drive. ||We loved our time here. We will be back (hopefully soon,) to enjoy the Black Walnut again, and will recommend it to everyone we know in the meantime!

a perfect first-time B&B experience. Found by chance when looking for alternatives to local hotel. Turned out to be lower price and much better deal! In town for work, didn't need all the amenities of the Honeymoon Suite, but they were so, so appreciated. Had everything I needed, and more. Hope to return some day.

We stayed here in the Honeymoon Suite for our honeymoon! The house is charming, and the room was clean and so relaxing! The fireplace and jacuzzi were an extra bonus and made our stay very comfortable! The breakfast we had delivered to our room every morning was fantastic! I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back again!
