George's Surfside Grille

Fantastic, if I could give more that 5 stars I would. (Macaroons, more on this later.)The food is fresh, delicious and large portions. The owner and staff were very friendly and attentive. A perk was getting to meet George. This place has literally the best coconut macaroons I have ever tasted. If you’re in Ocean City, NJ and want an amazing meal, good service, homemade ice cream, homemade fudge or candies…. This place is a must. Again, they deserve more than 5 stars!

I’ve passed this restaurant so many times walking to the beach and when we stayed overnight, decided to try it. Walked in and waited to be seated. A couple walked in after us, was seated first and offered a window seat. The server sat them and then walked away to clear a table so admittedly, I started out annoyed. We were not offered a window seat. The chair next to me had dried food on it. I ordered the avocado Benedict because I love both. The description said avocado slices. The image on their in-shop video showed almost a half an avocado on it (image attached). So, I was really disappointed to receive a Benedict with mashed avocado. It just changed the whole taste and texture. My son had chocolate chip pancakes and they were big and fluffy so no complaints there. The coffee was goo

First time in all my time down at the shore that my wife and I had tried George's. The breakfast served was very good, portion and taste was excellent and the price seemed on par or below elsewhere. Inside of the shop is nice and air-conditioned, and filled with ice cream, candies, goodies, and toys. Staff was friendly and service was good. Would eat here again gladly.

To be honest, we only stopped here for dinner because of the reviews. We are so glad that we did! The crab cake salad and the salmon salad were both delicious!! Prices weren't crazy expensive either. Loved the bathroom/ storage closet. Highly recommend for families with or w/o kids.

This was honestly one of the best breakfast spots I’ve been to in a while! The waitress, Jada, was super sweet and always checking if we needed refills. We even wanted to check what time they started lunch and she was kind enough to ask for us. Genuinely great food and amazing service!
