George's Pizza & Restaurant

Passing through on New Year's eve we stopped there. The food was great! The fresh chicken palm was very tender and moist, and cut with a fork with great home made sauce. The pizza was superb, and the toppings are no joke! Every inch of our pie was covered in nice juicy chunks of chicken and spinach. Very old school family place. The waitress was very nice and accommodating too! I would recommend this place to anyone. Great food and reasonably priced!

George’s Pizzeria and Restaurant in Unionville, CT, has the best Greek pizza in Connecticut in my opinion! The family who runs the restaurant is amazing too. Beautiful, relaxing, outdoor patio, and the restaurant and patio are connected to The Olive Bar, which has live music some nights as well. Love George’s!

Absolutely the best Italian food west of the river! The portions are generous and I always have my lunch for the next day! Staff are courteous and friendly and it feels like home. The owner often comes around and visits at the tables. I do take out as well when I just don't want to cook and it's always hot and delicious . I've also used them to cater family events?

I truly regret that I missed the opportunity to try this place for over a year. Fantastic food, with such a lovely staff and owner. You can’t go wrong with any food item here; but as far as I have tried the pizzas, grinders and starters were all amazing. It has a mixed menu with both Italian options, as well as Greek/Mediterranean cuisine. The marinara sauce, the meats, and the cheese were so fresh and light in smell that makes it easy to try unknown and new food options. Overall, a solid five star.

The owners are awesome. I order for pickup here at least twice every month on my way home from work. They gave me a free beer at the bar once when my order never got put in and I had to wait for a few minutes while they got right on it. Pizza is awesome every time. Their meatballs & sauce are killer on everything.
