Gelati Celesti Ice Cream

Very yummy ice cream. I’ve been to this location 3 times and each time I have to try very hard to not go back up to the counter to take some more home. The atmosphere is amazing and I love the vibe.

We finally made it to this Richmond staple. Everyone working was extremely friendly and let us try several samples. I appreciated the variety of flavors. Here’s my take on what my family sampled: Cookie dough - large chunks of cookie dough, loved it. Birthday Cake- really tastes like cake batter. Loved it. Rainbow Cookie - if you like the Ukrops rainbow cookie, you have to try this ice cream. Cinnamon snack - I like cinnamon, but I found the cinnamon overpowering. My little one enjoyed it though. Peppermint bark- if you love peppermint, get this, but I found the flavor to be a bit too strong as well (and this is made with vanilla, not peppermint, ice cream)! There’s another peppermint option that’s made with peppermint ice cream, and apparently it has an even stronger peppermint flavor.

We came here on a Friday night after dinner in winter time. The place was busy, all tables were occupied. Everyone was in a good mood, how could you not be happy while enjoying an ice cream? Large variety of flavors, everyone can find something that they would prefer. Good service, wait was not too long. Seen a lot of teens hanging out. Nice addition to the Short Pump area.

Nice modern look, very spacious if you have multiple kids. The ice cream is not heavy, definitely better than any store bought brand. The sizes are generous if you buy a cup. Medium cups are just the right amount of ice cream. If you buy a large, you can mix flavor as there are 4 scoops in this size.

Great dessert place to get some delicious ice cream right behind academy sports. As good as cold stone creamery, if not better. Lot of choices to select from. Few flavors do change from time to time. Plenty of seating area to sit and enjoy your cone or cup. Big parking lot. Prices are reasonable. Staff is helpful and polite but can be get overwhelmed sometimes with number of ppl waiting in line and things to manage.
