Dragon City

We have been getting carry-out from Dragon City since they've opened (15+years) and have not found a better place for Chinese Takeout . The food is consistently good, with very fresh veggies, quality meats, and great flavors. The owners are incredibly nice and hardworking, the place is super clean. There are a few tables to eat in, but it's mostly carry out.

Reasonably priced Chinese food is no longer a value if all of the containers are HALF FULL. The food was pretty good, but since we only got 50% of it, they get 50% of their food rating, as this is a service issue. I was going to give this place another chance, so I called and asked if the half full containers (2) were a mistake. I was told it was not an error and the lady explained the meat portion was the same but snow peas were expensive. I mentioned that half the veggies in the pork and snow peas order were celery (which was OK), but I wasn't getting anywhere. So, according to the proprietor, whether you get a full container or not depends on what you order. Therefore, the actual cost of your food is conservatively 1.5 times what the menu says compared with other places, and maybe

Place was clean,food tasted fresh. This is a small Chinese restaurant with accommodations for about 16 people. Would recommend this place!

Preface: If I ever "look" for somewhere quick to eat, it will be Chinese, and I always order Orange chicken. Some places it's good, others... meh. Lunch break? Of course I'll try a new Chinese take out. I received a pleasant greeting and proceeded with the standard process: order... 10 minutes later food is in hand and I'm whistling back to the truck. Took a short drive to Tuckahoe Creek Boardwalk to relax with scenery. Dragon City Orange chicken is phenomenal! I asked for exxtra spicy and the chef sliced the chilies before tossing em in the mix. Not too sugary, and plenty of orange rinds. Pork fried rice was delicious, fresh and juicy pieces of pork, not some crispy bacon bits. I forgot to ask them to add an egg to the rice, but I can't spoil myself too much. Satisfaction accomplished,

Always great food cooked well. I use to live in area, when I come vist I make sure I stock up. I wish they could send it mail. The best.
