Gator Shack Restaurant at Babcock Ranch Eco Tours

A real hidden gem. Far enough away to feel like you went somewhere while still being close enough to be a meeting point for groups. Great grounds and the resturant was absolutely fantastic. A lot of homemade food made with pride. Would recommend to anyone wanting a good lunch or to see some Florida nature.

This is a super cute little restaurant, but let me tell you, looks are deceiving as it's quite roomy inside. Service was great. The staff is friendly and we did not have to wait long for our food. We ordered a Cuban with fries and a basket of gator bites. Everything was delicious, as was their homemade sauce. We will be back here for sure.

That pulled pork was THE BOMB. Tender, juicy, BBQ sauce was super tasty! The fries were amazing- crisp outside, fluffy inside... and the coleslaw, which I usually don't eat, was good too. Someone knows what they're doing! And the portions are huge. My food was $12 but I got to eat it twice so that's cool.

It doesn’t look like much, but you’ll be glad that you decided to eat there. Very friendly and great food! The barbecue is delicious! The serving size is generous and the price is moderate.
