The Bay Kava Cafe

A Kava bar for kava bar lovers. I’ve been goin to kava bars for 15 years. I have not found one this good on this coast of FL. I find the drinks here to be great. The honey brew kratom is my favorite. Excellent taste, strong effects and creative mocktails. The prices are better than the competition. The manager Victor is awesome. He is very personable, knowledgeable and has a real passion for kava/kratom. The interior looks nice and vibe is good. Decent space and seating is comfortable and they sell snacks. The crowd is very friendly. The locations great too in right in downtown Punta Gorda.

What a GREAT find! I’ve started my journey in checking out more Kava Bars. There are so many different brew methods, atmospheres, vibes. Bula Bay has really created something special. I never had kratom infused with honey before! Victor and Naz really did a great job. Making everyone feel welcomed with their speciality drinks. 12/10 will be back!!!

This new kava spot has quickly become one of my favorite places in town! The drinks are not only delicious but also the best kava I’ve had around smooth, fresh, and top quality. The atmosphere is perfect whether you’re looking to relax or get some work done, with a great study and work area that makes it easy to focus. What really makes this place shine is the team. Victor and Brianna are incredible bartenders they bring so much warmth, happiness, and good energy to the bar. Every visit feels welcoming and you can tell they truly care about the experience.

My husband and I were in town, visiting w friends in the area, when we discovered The Bay Kava!! We had visited the couple of other kava shops, in the area, that were nice, but the kratom seemed weak. Victor, at The Bay, was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about brewing his tea and kava. He brews his tea like no other kava shop I've been to. Being from St Pete/ Clearwater, we've tried QUITE a few. Victor's honey tea was WONDERFUL!! It didn't need any flavor or syrups, but he offers some GREAT mixed drinks, as well, using his kava and ktea. I had a Wicked Watermelon w a spicy rim and it was spot on!! Delicious!
